Waterhouse Cottage is situated in one of the prettiest rural areas of Devon The cottages are located approximately half a mile out of Cheriton Fitzpaine towards Poughill in a very peaceful location with no near neighbours.
Cheriton Fitzpaine has a population of 804 residents with local village facilities including post office and general stores and primary school. The village has a number of listed and cherished properties including pretty thatched period terraced cottages as well as small modern housing developments. In our opinion the village is of high economic value with the community focusing on business in the local area of Crediton, Exeter and Tiverton, as well as the farming agricultural industry.
Cheriton Fitzpaine can be accessed via the A3072, which connects Crediton to Tiverton. To the south east is the main county town of Exeter approximately 25 minutes drive away, to the north is Witheridge, South Molten and Exmoor, and to the west is the market town of Crediton, (our office is here) with all main high street facilities. Access to the M5 motorway is via Tiverton using the North Devon Link Road A361, which connects to Junction 27 of the M5 motorway.
